“You guys just put up with me, don’t you?” was a thought I had WAYYYY too often in my twenties.
Hey, I’m going to be interviewed on the Moonhawk Studios podcast Wednesday around 7:45 pm PST (it’s listed as 7:00, but ignore that). You can listen and sign in and ask questions in the chat room.
Sometimes I cautiously make suggestions, and the people I’m suggested to explain WHY they’re not doing that. I then gently try to explain that I’m still suggesting it.
The question is, was I Bruno or Susan in my head when writing this?
I think this was the point I realized that I’d begun viewing Susan as more complex than I had previously written her (although I’d always liked how she was).
Oh, and that’s a poster of Soul Coughing’s “Ruby Vroom” album.
If you can’t lick ‘em, join ‘em.
I often wonder if parents are able to stand back when they see their child act in ways they disapprove and say, oh right, that fits into the philosophy I taught them.
Oh, and don’t forget, this is mid-June they are going swimming in New England. Still pretty damn cold in the water.
(sorry, I forgot to upload the strip for today)
It’s funny how perspective can change a preconceived notion.
On certain days, New England is like this in the summer. Sometimes 100 degrees and sticky sweaty awful hot. And then the mosquitoes come.
Solution? Wear as little as possible, move as little as possible, and have every part of you touching as little else of you as possible.
