   That’s because those 80s fashions were so gnarly! ;) (Actually, both the fashions and the slang were pretty hideous, but like the bell-bottoms of the 70’s, they insist on returning! My reaction to most of those fads – other than PacMan, I love PacMan! – is “what *were* we thinking?”)
