I liked this added facet to Lenny’s personality. Not just some guy in a warehouse pushing a dolly. And yeah, today even more than then, big corporations are making it harder and harder to survive on the meager wages and benefits they’re doling out, I’m very thankful for unions and union organizers.
I remember living in the area I went to college, until finally most of my college friends moved away. It made me sad. Than I left too (and left one or two behind who may have been thinking the same thing).
Making things up as you go along is a good analogy for my writing for Bruno. “Freewriting” they call it, to make it sound more professional than “Oh My God, I have to write this bit before the deadline in an hour!”
So, since I was sending Bruno on a road-trip, I figured I could introduce a bunch of characters int he cast, and basically keep around the ones I really liked. And it worked pretty well. :)
I’m not sure if I’d find a wake-up call like that comforting or an unfortunate reminder of my situation before I’d waken enough to remember it.
I was part of a long conversation about Anime and Miyazaki and Lain. I have never seen Lain, but the comment was explained to me and I thought it funny. Not that I recall enough to explain it now. :)
Funny how when someone ruins something, if they step in and save it it’s easy to forgive them when it was their fault to begin with.
