Sigh, sometimes you can only do vices OCCASIONALLY, but…. what can you do. Enjoy them while you can.
That weird thing that happens, when you’re getting older, and your parent becomes somewhat more your equal/peer than an authority figure.
I think therapy helped me a lot to come out of my shell and go to see the world. I am very thankful for it.

A few times in my life people have covertly brought me writings/drawings they’ve done, and it’s always much more sweet than they realize.
Funny how with all the dialogue, the entire tone is very much set (out of many possibilities) by Bruno’s playful smile.
I wonder if I did that to help define her character, or simply to add levity since it is a “humor” comic strip after all.
The REALITY of writing, both prose and comics (not the mythological fantasy of it) is really not very pleasurable to many people, I think. More an obsession, a compulsion, an addiction.
