   Despite the presence of the sprites, this is an interior monologue on a single theme. What we are waiting for is Bruno’s internalization of the meaning of these fever dreams; their expression in the world, as conversation, as confrontation, as action, as agony.

   Not to comment on economy, but Dickens made do with only three spirits.
