   I buried a plastic ring in the sandbox once, and marked it with an X, so that I wouldn’t lose it at recess. Needless to say, I couldn’t find it later. XP

   Oh man – I lost a marble like that! Except mine was clear green, a bit chipped and elderly – a marble with experience. Then I got taunted into betting with it and it was gone. I was heartbroken.

   …..oddly, I have no notion what happened to all my other marbles.
