Bruno’s reaction comes from my own fumbling attempts to do things which others seem to capable of. Or maybe just what I perceive others are capable of.

Sorry, but it’s still hard to get past how much he looks like Egon Spengler from “The Real Ghostbusters.”
I really need to thank you for the peach slicnig demo. Not because I needed to learn to slice peaches but because it triggered an epiphany for me. Today, I got some wonderful Early Gold apples and decided to make pies for the freezer like I do every year. Apple pies in large quantity can be a little daunting for me because of the peeling, quartering, coring and slicnig-especially since I do NOT like big chunks of apple but rather thin slices that are cut again crosswise. This time, thanks to the peach cutting demo, I peeled, then halved, then used a melon baller to remove the cores. Then I used your method to thinly slice the half apple, turned it and slice it into fourths and scooped it into the bowl. It took me about half as long to prep the apples. I’ve been making apple pies for about 50 years and this just occurred to me. VERY shallow learning curve. THANK YOU!!!!Jackie
