He is a bit cartoonier than the usual muscled guy I drew in Bruno.
I like this strip because she realizes, after her reflexive response, that she’s overreacting. I also like that he’s a tad bit snarky, but not a total jerk back, which he could have been.
I find this strip incredibly depressing.
It’s like it illustrates a perfect microcosm of male privilege: She has already clearly refused his advances, and he is persisting to the point of attempting to touch her without permission. But she’s the one who is expected to apologize, because a woman’s time, attention, and physical person are still public property to men, and God forbid that she hurt his feelings with an abrupt reply because women are supposed to be polite and ladylike and not raise a fuss and holy hell this makes me angry. The only thing missing is him calling her a “frigid b*tch” at the end.
Or a lesbian. Lol
Because if -I’m- rejecting a man’s advances, that means I’m on the “other team”.
