On another topic, this is one of those strips that I can now recognize the setting of (the truck-eating train bridge), whereas I had never been to Northampton when I first read this strip.
There is now a bike bridge next to the train bridge, and those steps on the right of the comic have a little track on the side to allow for walking your bike up. :)
Yes! It is exactly there. Although honestly I don’t recall if it was from memory, or a photograph, or if I sat there and drew it. The drawing has enough information to make me wonder, but not enough to make me feel it actually is.
