   That bison farm is still there, but they sold some of their land a few years ago, and a Lowe’s store was built there. That’s almost the story of the town in microcosm: a weird balance of agricultural preservation and big box development.

   And yes, I usually don’t give the truest answer when people ask how I’m doing (though sometimes I will be forthcoming with a “Stressed – what’s up?”
