Yeah… it was 150 years ago, time to move on everybody.
This was a big deal when this strip came out. The state government of whatever state they were in decided to start flying the confederate flag.
And racism isn’t 150 years ago. Racism is still now.
I’m speaking to the confederate flag-wavers; they need to move on. I’m not entirely comfortable with banning it, but to me it represents something only slightly less evil than the swastika.
