   Interesting move, showing Bruno only from the back, so that we can only guess at her expression. I don’t think she’s ever received so harsh an insult from someone she cares about.

   Easy to guess that Paul’s had his own share of adventures, but of course ~that’s~ ~different~. :-| I don’t think there’s even a derogatory term specifically for a “promiscuous” man.

   A man does it and he’s just a man. A woman does it and she’s a whore. Call a man a whore and you’re gonna see a fist and then you’re gonna see stars. Call a woman a whore and…. well, what does she do, then?

   The only thing you can do when you find this kind of divergence is rise above it. But you must be prepared to resist the sensation that you’re pulling on a noose, and you’re not sure who’s wearing it around whose neck.

   I guess I must have met some dicks as two-dimensionally cretinous as this in my time but I’ve blocked them from my memory. Being this deliberately cruel cancels any moral high ground a person may think they have.
