I guess bruno didn’t feel she connected. Was it just because their plans all were a tiny bit flat, or was there a lack of connection. I think i may have missed it, and I wrote the dang thing. I’ll give it a re-read. :)

Sadly, Friendship Shift is greatly facilitated by the Facebook phenomenon.
“Hey, I haven’t heard from you in ages! I wrote you about my new job last fall and getting so sick in the spring – you never get back to me!”
“Oh, I don’t have time to write emails! I just post on Facebook to keep up with everybody.”
You say that things change, my dear.
That’s one reason I don’t do Facebook. There are many others.
Gee I thought Bruno and Mary got along swimmingly. If you can count one or two friendships where you are really connected at the heart all the time, you are ahead of the rest of the world. Those kinds of connections tend to burn out too, in my experience. A good friend that you can count on to welcome you and enjoy your company whenever you are there, who’s laid back and easy to take and doesn’t judge you; that is solid gold, and is not to be discounted just because the heavens don’t part and angels sing every minute you’re together.
Also, I hate FB and wouldn’t have an account if it wasn’t the only way to see pics of my grandkids.
