   The fact that he implies that it’s not so odd to hear such sounds from someone who ISN’T “a very very single person” suggests that he understands a FEW things. ;-)

   Having had lots of years with my sweetie and her many cats and dogs, I can tell you that they aren’t at all confused. Sure, it’s a slightly different situation from their nightly routine, but they quickly adjust to it in whatever way makes them happy and comfortable.

   The tales I could tell — but I’m not going to. Sorry. ;-)
