While staying with a friend, I tried turning on the heat in the dark, and the heat was hot radiator heat from a heat-on-demand hot water heater (I do love those things). Anyhow, flood did happen. But boy was the floor clean afterwards.

Please pardon my prurience, but is Simone’s attire (naked but for a shirt) supposed to indicate that she and Bruno slept together, or is that just what she sleeps in and she didn’t see any need to change her habits for a guest?
Obviously, the cliché is that the woman wears the man’s shirt on the morning after (there was a “Casey and Andy” strip that addressed this point but it’s too early to go searching for) and, just as obviously, that cliché won’t quite work here. Begging the question, do gay couples wear each other’s shirts in the morning?
Off-topic, I find it interesting to contemplate how gay teenagers can now run off and get married under the same poorly thought-out circumstances as straight teenagers. Well, there is just the one scenario where a boy and a girl get themselves into a kind of trouble that two girls or two boys can’t possibly get themselves into…
TVTropes FTW.
Nothing prurient about that notion! That said, I guess I don’t see what you’re seeing. I just assumed that’s what Simone slept in. Maybe I’m just more innocent or something. :)
Only Christopher knows for sure what he was suggesting.
