I had forgotten the Bobbins crossover! I miss Bobbins. I like Allison’s current work too, but there was just something about that strip.
@Phil C: me too. I once asked John if a Bobbins book was ever possible, and he replied that he was missing many of the high-res colored scans and only had original artwork and low-res (web) copies available. So… theoretically possible to re-scan and re-color the artwork, but not economically feasible. I said if he ever decided to do a book anyway, even using the low-res stuff, I’d be front of the queue to buy it.
Meantime he appears to be bouncing around between Bad Machinery and Robert Cop, at least that I’ve seen on the Scary Go Round site, but he’s done some new Bobbins material in the past year. I fear that he may have tied it off for real, though. :(
Thanks to Christopher for the crossover. It’s always fun to see one of my favorite webcomic artists doing material for or referencing another of my favorite webcomics. Even more fun is spotting it through the different styles. :)
