I’m sorry, but aside from the candle, I have no idea what I’m looking at.
Um, it’s just a candle.
Is that a candle in a heap of entrails?
Oh, okay, thanks. What I should’ve said was aside from the WICK, I couldn’t tell what I was looking at. The candle’s size and shape, contrasted with the wick, threw me.
For what it’s worth, I like the symbology of a candle burned nearly to its base, the unburned melted wax spilling forth, unused, unconsummated, wasted, lost. The shape of grief itself.
@Ronald, yeah, it does look pretty weird. But it was how the candle I had melted. :)
