   Christopher,

   This is a masterpiece of composition, characterization, dialogue, and the integration of same. Well done! And by the way, you made me Google “ecpyrosis” (spelled with a “k,” as it turns out). Made me think someone at Marvel Comics must have recently discovered the concept and said “Hey! Let’s do that!” Anyway, superb strip.

   The next time I have to fire someone (which, if I’m lucky, will be never) I’m going to think of Heraclitus and this comic. Sheesh!
