So… Elian was somewhat based, visually at least, on myself. John in New Orleans was a bit more ME that Elian, but it’s weird how I kept showing up.

We keep showing up in all our creations, because no matter how we picture them, their expression is filtered through our senses, our beliefs, our unconscious prejudices, and they come out tinted, if not actually stained, by the being that is us. No point in worrying about it… the key issue is, and will remain: Do they/I have anything worthwhile to say, or present, or show, or contrast? Can’t avoid being there; can we at least be useful, while we’re here?
Ha! Neither John nor Elian are particularly useful. ;-)
But yes, well said. And so true.
