I’m less than impressed with people who feel themselves qualified to psychoanalyze casual acquaintances right to their faces. Is someone who’s fascinated by dead birds really in a position to talk about feeling “dead to the world”? But whatever.
Yeah, that’s a bit intrusive. What’s worse are friends in the “helping” professions, particularly social workers. I have a couple who constantly try to “fix” people. I’m comfy in my broken state, thank you. If I’m not, I just need a good listener.
