   See, this is why IMHO it’s best to go through life being as inconspicuous as possible. It’s the squeaky wheel that gets REPLACED.

   I can’t go through life a silently suffering wheel. Somebody’s ending up in the ditch and it won’t be me.

   Well, there’s a lot of room between silently suffering and gratuitously insulting and profane. That was hardly the only way Dije could have made his point.

   Besides, profanity gives people a legitimate excuse to ignore what you’re saying.
