I don’t even know how to articulate how confused I am by this strip.
Bill Bixby played the Hulk in the original TV series? What else doesn’t make sense? :)
Good grief, how long did it take you to draw that room? All that cross-hatching…
@M.A., god, I know, right? I was a madman back then. :)
I mean, who are the men and what is their relationship to Kat and to Judi and to each other? Who’s the guy (and why does that other guy call him “f_ck-face”? that’s not the kind of nickname you just apply to a random stranger)? Is Kat the only one who lives in that apt or does she have roommates? Why is Judi there? It’s been established that she lives alone.
I remember seeing the Hulk in theaters. When Banner first Hulks out, they only show him in motion – running fast, jumping, hurling tanks. He eventually sets down in a desert town where the military is waiting for him. There’s a moment of very little noises as the soldiers look at him in fear, and he’s looking back in anger and confusion that is supposed to be very tense.
A moment that was broken by a little girl in the theater happily exclaiming, “Shrek!”
