   Okay, so Amy’s supposed to be, what, twelve? I personally wouldn’t attach much importance to character analysis from a twelve-year-old.

   I wonder if something happened in Amy’s life as a result of being “liberated” by Bruno years ago and that’s what’s at the bottom of this.

   It occurred to me that during this time of stress, it would be good for Bruno to be surrounded by people who love and support her. Too bad there are none to be found in her current location; they’re all back home.
