   Wait… Pittsfield? Massachusetts? [digs around the archives] Ah, the Berkshires. Yes, Pittsfield MA. Where my mom was born, both parents grew up, and where all four grandparents lived the entire time I’ve known them. (Errr… five, actually. Grandpa remarried after Grandma died. Breast cancer.) Have visited many times. And then there’s the Hancock Shaker Village on Housatonic.

   Grandma (no, the other one) was raised by the Shakers.

   I’m sure I noticed this the first time ’round, but I’d completely forgotten. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
