   Well… pleasing only other people or only yourself are both recipes for disaster. But if you’re spinning your wheels by yourself, the best thing to do is to get help from the outside, whether or not you dislike the burden that may put on someone else’s shoulders.

   Amy has the right idea. At least if the person you’re talking to is being compensated with money, it makes the guilt of “dumping” lessen. It’s also only dumping if you have no intention of improving the situation aside from talking to someone.
