   I’m with Bruno on this one. Finding oneself in the company of a Heinleinian omnicompetent can get to be intimidating after a time. I’m reminded of one of my favorite Virginia Woolf quotes: “Every time I read Colette, I feel dowdy.”

   Bruno has the option of considering it flattering that such an uber-successful overachiever is romantically interested in her, because who else would someone who expects the absolute best of herself be romantically interested in but someone whom she evidently considers one of the best potential girlfriends?

   So there’s that, anyway.
