   Wait, I thought Dije was the only character from an earlier setting/location who resided at/in our current setting/location. Isn’t this woman (whose name eludes me) also from an earlier setting/location?

   Her friends on the boat shanghaied her in Olympia WA (where Dije is) and sailed to Portland (where she is now).

   Oh. I thought they just shanghaied her out to sea and back.

   But they in fact did something even less excusable. That’s clearer now.
