   Given what we know about Judi’s past, it seems safe to presume that she wasn’t very sympatico with [stereo]typically Texan “strong opinions” to begin with.

   The ineffable Bruno, expecting alienation everywhere.I have to tell people I’m a strong conservative, and they politely ignore me; my Goldwater admiration is as out-of-place and culturally irrelevant as a fondness for the philosophy of Bakunin, and as little understood. I’ve gone down Bruno’s path this way, and found it only a source of mockery, as she has here.
