It was a weird feeling of reprieve after Y2K.
And yes. A female president, please? Any day now?

The word is spelled “definitely.”
Hahahah! “Definitely” is one of the most misspelled words in all of Bruno. I have no idea why the correct spelling (me having been told many times) never sunk in.
Everybody’s too embarrassed to look up the correct spelling, he-said-using-the-first-most-misspelled-word.
I agree it’s far past time for us to have a woman president. There’s absolutely no reason not to. That said, a female president is just going to be another politician. I doubt that women will be any better represented by a female powermonger than a male one, nor need they be. There were no blacks in the congress that passed the 13th Amendment, and only one woman representative in the congress that passed the 19th.
I’d rather have a competent leader than a female one if I had to choose. And, no, I don’t think there have been many competent male ones, either. Then again, I’m too far north to have an opinion that isn’t too biased to count. ;)
