It’s only one year that you’re wishing to be happy, so you say “Happy New Year.” Putting an S on the end indicates more than one year.
I can honestly say that I am better friends with my ex-second-wife than we ever were during five years of marriage. I think the pressures and expectations of married life (or any committed coupling) put a different spin on a relationship than just friends can enjoy. I wish Dan could get off his high horse, he’s missing out on being friends with Bruno, who is awesome to have as a friend.
@Kona It’s hard to remove the barbs that the breakup made to remake it into friendship. That’s just how it is sometimes.
