Man, I could just write those two drinking wine and bantering with each other all day. Warms my heart.

Yes! Banter! Loving, affectionate give-and-take, with no implied malice or miscommunication. Why is it so easy to write, and so difficult to carry out in real life?
Ever thought about doing a strip about them and their adventures?
It worked for Dashiell Hammett and Nick and Nora Charles. But they still had to work as detectives, though.
M.A., I actually tried it in Anna Galactic. In the original strip it was two couples, and they were the second couple. But it didn’t work, and the people I showed it too down-thumbed it. I tried a few things, and eventually replaced them with Anna and Pewter, and made Foxglove and Teapot take on some of Dana and Samantha’s traits.
@Kona Thanks for your post as love your brilliant take on “Banter”!
