What, he can’t exchange the ticket the function organizers presumably bought him for a cheaper one and use the extra cash-back plus some of his own funds to buy a ticket for Bruno too (since he presumably already knew that Katalina wouldn’t want to go)? Bad host, Stanley. Bad host. :-|
What’s to prevent Bruno from just going home and coming back in a few days (or not)? Well, I mean, yes, there’s THE PLOT, of course, but…
Well… Bruno herself will choose to stay because Stanley trusted her and she’d be too stubborn to leave, mental health and relationship troubles aside. If hell is inevitable, she’ll eventually choose to face it.
Also, with Katalin being a child, I think you’d get in trouble with the law for abandoning a child (teenager) alone as the only adult supervision/caregiver remaining in the household…?
Oh, sorry, I didn’t realize Katalina was supposed to be a child too young to be left by herself. IMHO she neither looks nor sounds like one. She gives me the impression of being a stereotypical spoiled jaded teenage girl, old enough to herself be a baby-sitter.
So, bad me. :-|
