   Wait a minute. It just registered on me.

   Isn’t Seattle where she lived before going to New York to see Stanley et cetera? Isn’t that more of “finally, I’m going home” moment?

   Or was it not Seattle? That’s eminently possible.

   As I recall, Bruno left her humdrum dropout life at her parents’s in Massachusetts, nearly died of exposure until rescued by Stanley, and has been effectively coast-hopping all this time (with a detour to Europe following her being run down by a car). But now she’s with Gina. and it’s not the same trip at all, at all.

   Before she went to visit Stanley, she lived…in some city or another that she was friends with Dije, Lewis, and others. I thought that was in effect her home. If nothing else, her Cat has to be SOMEWHERE…

   That was Portland. I’m not sure how long she was there, but I think it was a year or two. And she moved around a couple times while there.

   Okay, thanks.

   So it was sort of a “back to Washington again” moment instead. Well, whatever. It’s been quite some time since I really “got” this strip, anyway.
