   I don’t remember the “Bruno Quits Drinking” arc at all either.

   Drinking was always Bruno’s self-acknowledged weakness, one in which she deliberately indulges — or indulged — to ironically allow herself to misbehave and/or socially disconnect.

   I’m not sure willfully discontinuing an activity that was never more than excuse to be as anti-social as Bruno thought she had every right to be counts as progress. You can only blame the vine so much, and then you have to admit that nobody MADE you get drunk. Except yourself, very consciously. Tch!
